    This looks so "DEE-LISH!" Can you please post your recipe? I was just talking about shrimp-n-grits and how I needed a great recipe. Thanks in advance.

      Thank you, it was so yummy, easy and everyone loved it.

      Ingredients:

      1 lb shrimp
      5 pieces of turkey bacon
      1/2 cup bellpepper
      1/2 cup red onions
      2 cloves of garlic crushed
      Oregano parsley, seasoning salt and pepper
      1 1/2 cups of grits
      1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
      butter
      1/2 cup heavy cream

      Directions:

      Sautee the first 5 ingredients and add the seasoning. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

      Cook the bacon and set aside to cool.

      Cook the grits according to box instructions
      When the grits are done, add the cheese, butter, and cream, stirring constantly.

      Serve

      Dish with the shrimp over the grits and crumble the bacon on top.

      Voila!

    A girl after my own heart! Funny that as a Jamaican shrimp and grits is my fave- dare I say!

      Ok you have got to share your recipe, I'm sure Jamaican shrimp and grits will put mine to shame lol
