Vanilla Mocha Frappe’

I woke up this morning craving a mocha frappe’ and seriously contemplated jumping in my car and satisfying my craving.  To try and talk myself off the edge, I grabbed my trusty Ipad and pulled up the nutritional info for the super sweet yummy frappe’ from Mcdonalds and nearly choked when I saw 450 calories, tons of fat and cholesterol but I could not get it out of my mind.  So I took out my blender and whipped up my own slightly healthier version.

Ingredients:

1 cup 2% milk
2 shots espresso
1/4 cup Hershey syrup
2 tbls fat free vanilla syrup
4 tbls baking chocolate
1 tsp chocolate sprinkles
1/3 cup ice
1 scoop fat free whipped cream

Directions:

Brew 2 shots of espresso and pop in the freezer for roughly 5 minutes
Combine all the ingredients except sprinkles, and whipped cream
Blend well
If you would like a thicker frappe, feel free to add more ice
pour into a glass and add whipped cream and sprinkles

Drink up
