My plan this past weekend was to work on tons of projects but unfortunately I instead suffered through no electricity due to the the storm that hit the Washington Area Friday night. I operated the entire weekend off a generator in 100 degree weather so needless to say very little was done, I didn’t want to waste the little energy I had left that wasn’t zapped by the heat. I only craved water and ice cream and boy did I partake. I finished the weekend with this yummy dessert that was quick and easy. This ice cream contains no egg yolk and is uncooked and unheated, this allows the fruit to maintain it’s fresh flavor. The key is to use the ripest fruit you can find. You’ll be amazed at the flavor.
