Re-constructed

Nothing is better than having an aha moment in your closet.  I purchased this BCBG coat over a year ago but never wore it.  Once I got it home, it looked a little too inspector gadget for me so it just sat there.  While gathering clothes to leave out for the Salvation Army, I spotted a very old Dolce & Gabbana leather motorcycle jacket I knew I would never wear again but the leather was so gorgeous I struggled with keeping it, and allowing someone else to enjoy it.  Well clearly the Salvation Army didn’t win this time because instantly I knew what I wanted to do with it.  I ripped the arms off the jacket and put them on the coat.  Instant LOVE!

I have so enjoyed reworking my closet this way or even buying items
and having the reworked it is almost like getting custom items.
