A couple of months ago I made this top out of wool houndstooth fabric that was so incredibly easy to work with. I loved it so much I figured I would make this skirt out of the left over fabric using Vogue pattern V8841. I also loved the cobalt and houndstooth combination so when I saw this jacket on sale at the Urban Outfitters store in China Town for only $20.00 I felt compelled. The jacket is a great vibrant color and with the exception of the uber cheap pleather oddly colored sleeves, I really liked it. So of course I had to remove the sleeves and replace them with cobalt suede.
