Lovely!!! I keep saying I am going to take on a project like this but have not. May I ask where do you get your leather from and what type is it? Thanks 🙂

Thank you! I buy 90% of my leather from http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com, they have a good selection and great quality leather. The leather used for this clutch is a double shoulder 4-5oz. If your looking for a small piece of leather to make one clutch, I would look on Ebay.com and search for "leather hides" you can pick-up a nice small piece of leather at a great price.

      Hope that helps 🙂

    Thanks in advance

I absolutely love this! My husband makes leather bags out of this material too, and they get especially beautiful after some wear. On a sidenote, I was wondering… How tall are you? I'm 6"1 and still need to get enough confidence to wear heels!

    • June 10, 2013 / 11:58 am

I agree, once it's worn a bit it looks even better. I'm 5'10" and on average wear 4.5 inch heels so I'm generally the tallest woman in the room 🙂 I love it now but that wasn't always the case. It took years for me to embrace my limbs but now I wouldn't want to change it for anything 🙂

Hi Nikki, This is my first time here and so far I want everything I see! I have one question about this bag, what is the size of your overstitch tool (how many holes per inch)? Thanks!

    • June 10, 2013 / 7:26 pm

LOL thank you 🙂 I use a 6 marks overstitch.

You should add this to your etsy store. I ordered the convertible clutch last week. Can't wait to rock it.

Nikki may I ask what kind of stabilizer are you using for these bags? I am having a hard time with this.. Are you also using it as the lining?
