DIY cobalt & leather wrap dress

DIY cobalt & leather wrap dress
Happy Monday morning!
I’ve been dying to make a cold weather version of my perfect summer frock and remembered this cobalt wool crepe I picked up over the summer.

It’s really hard not to feel elegant in a long flowy dress that’s perfect for a black tie event for those of us who prefer something not traditionally black tie.

This dress was made with this Butterick pattern B5454 with the following alterations-

-Added 28″ to the bottom
-Added 2″ to the bodice
-Added 3 button wrist cuffs
-Added two bodice shoulder pleats
-Added leather self ties wrapped into a rosette
-Added side seam pockets

Thank you so much for reading!
