DIY Bright Red Bell Coat

Taking full advantage of this amazing weather we are experiencing, I decided to throw on my new favorite cashmere and wool coat.   I’m really curious to know if there is anyone else that absolutely love coats and jackets as much as I do maybe it’s a result of my winters growing up in Nebraska.  I live for coat weather on a whole new level and now that I make my own, I can indulge like crazy without the guilt.  This coat is made with this amazing fabric from mood. I wanted to break up some of the red with this bright red wool on the sleeves.  I lined the coat with this red poly charmeuse that gives this a coat a nice weight.

I used this Burdastyle downloaded pattern with no pattern alterations.  This was a pretty simple pattern with the exception of the missing pieces I had to draft myself (which is common with these downloads)
