Flash back to the perfect DIY pencil skirt

When you find something that works, you stick with it.  Four years ago I made a simple pencil skirt sloper that’s standed the test of time.  It’s gone through tons of transformations from skirts to dresses and back.  If there’s a pencil skirt or dress on my blog, 90% of the time it came from my trusty pencil skirt sloper.  If you’re in need of the perfect fitting pencil skirt here are the instructions to start your own pencil skirt love affair.

This is a great tutorial, the fit is fantastic. Some of the pictures you have posted look like wovens. Am I right? I’m assuming it’s a matter of adding a zipper. Just thought I’d ask in case there was other ease you used. Thanks!

Thank you so much, it’s actually a mix of knits and woven.
