Nothing is more feminine than a little silk shoulder baring tank. Worn with jeans, a skirt or shorts it’s the perfect addition to any wardrobe. This tank was made with McCall’s Pattern M6288 view B which is a dress pattern. I removed about 8 inches from the pattern to convert to a top, added an exaggerated neck and didn’t add the strips to the front and back seams which would have made this sporty. This pattern also calls for stretch knits only but because I wanted this top to be a bit more special, I used this beautiful bright chartreuse silk fabric from Mood which isn’t a stretch so a lot of manipulation had to be done.
