Nothing makes me feel more ladylike than an all white frock and to top it off, a plunging back. That’s kinda where it ends considering I can only manage to keep it stain free for three hours tops. Using a jersey from Mood, and the bodice to Vogue pattern V1102 with the following alterations:
Added 4.5″ to the length of the bodice pattern which creates a plunging open back
Added a 3″x4.5″ gathered strap across the back
For the skirt I cut the fabric 30″x 54″, and double stitched the piece closed. Attached the skirt to the bodice and pleated the excess fabric in the back, leaving the front flat.
