Cobalt is the new black, at least that’s the word on my street. I simply can’t get enough of this amazing color one because I simply love it, but the truth is I purchased three variations of the color in so many yards I have no choice but to go cobalt crazy.
One of the many benefits of being tall is the ability to pull off a dress that hits you at the calf. There’s something both demure and sexy about a dress this length. Made with McCall’s M6355 view D with the following alterations:
-Added a 1″ curved neck
-Added 5″ to the length
-Added a 5″ ruffle to the hem
-Added three pleats to the shoulder which created an exaggeration
