The past few weeks I’ve gone through the process of cleaning out my closet, trying to determine what gets added to my shop my closet, what’s going to be given away and what’s going to the goodwill. When I came upon this tartan bell sleeve dress I made earlier this year. It made it’s first stop in the shop my closet pile then to the give away pile and finally back to the closet when I decided to make a few alterations giving it one more twirl. This dress was made with a wool plaid I picked up at Mood in NY and the currently out of print McCalls M5927 with the following alterations:
Added a gathered waist
Added bell sleeves
Raised the hemline
