I’ve been dying to make a cold weather version of my perfect summer frock and remembered this cobalt wool crepe I picked up over the summer.
It’s really hard not to feel elegant in a long flowy dress that’s perfect for a black tie event for those of us who prefer something not traditionally black tie.
This dress was made with this Butterick pattern B5454 with the following alterations-
-Added 28″ to the bottom
-Added 2″ to the bodice
-Added 3 button wrist cuffs
-Added two bodice shoulder pleats
-Added leather self ties wrapped into a rosette
-Added side seam pockets
