Winter for me is the opportunity for wool overload. I absolutely love it! Mood has the most luxe wool in every shade and texture on the planet. This medium weight suiting wool with a bit of one-way stretch and a lot of drape make for the perfect fitted dress and pants. It sews easily, irons well and fits comfortably. At only $13.99 a yard, it definitely won’t last.
The dress was made using the bodice of vintage McCalls 2718 with the following alterations:
-Removed the neck band option
-Added a gathered sleeve
-Added 20″ back zipper
-Added 8″ zippers to the wrist
The Skirt of the dress was made using my trusty pencil skirt pattern with the following alterations:
-Added a 9″ back split
-Added a 1″ bottom band
The fur trimmed blazer was made a while ago here

The link isn’t working for the fur blazer.
The links with this new format are barely visible. On my lap top, it looks like there were a lot of spaces between the black type. And when I clicked on the link for the most recent post, it sent me to the second most recent post. The only thing I can think of is the pictures change too quickly.
