When it comes to making baby and toddler clothing, it is the most adorable process ever. Seeing a mini version of something I would wear is just too darn cute.
Pj’s are another animal altogether, she goes through them at a rate that’s mind boggling, she literally has three drawers stuffed with every type of pj known to children. One thing missing is a “real” robe, I’m talking a bonafide big girl robe that she see’s mommy in. In honor of her 16 months of life, she got her mommy robe.
Well this observant, clever little munchkin was tickled to put on her big girl robe. She kept looking at it and staring at mine, it was the cutest thing ever.
The fabric used for this robe was an organic cotton from Mood Fabrics that is unfortunately sold out, but here are a few alternatives here here and here
The pattern used was Simplicity 2139 with the following pattern alterations:
-Shortened the length
-Added elastic to the wrist
That is so cute and you little girl is adorable. 16 months, wow. Seems like you were just pregnant.
She is just precious! And the best little model!
