Lately I’ve been obsessed with wrap everything! If something has a potential to add a wrap, you can best believe a wrap will be added. When I saw this fabric on Moodfabrics.com, I was familiar with this particular composition and thought It would make a great lightweight dress but decided right before I cut it, a wrap top was needed. This is truly the most simple top you will ever make. I figured a pair of high waisted pants would give this a jumpsuit look with the option to later wear separates.
The top was made by cutting 1 piece of fabric 150″x 11.5″ and 2 pieces of fabric 45″ x 11.5″. Attach each 45″ piece to the ends of the 150″ piece which will give you a 240″ wrap which is plenty long. I finished the edges by folding them under 1″ twice and stitching along the perimeter. This will leave you with a finished width of 7.5″
The pants were made using the same pattern used here with the following alterations:
-Added 2″ to the width of the waistband
-Removed 2″ from the length
You did a beautiful job, as always!!
Looks amazing! I adore your work.
This is gorgeous!! Rockstar quality.
Can’t wait for your commercial pattern release and partnership with McCalls in July! You have such a great eye!!!!
I absolutely love this! I remember when you started sewing and my gosh each piece gets more impeccable (at least for my taste). I am going to learn how to sew sooner than later. I love the carefree, streamlined style.
Are you kidding me? This is fierce. I can’t wait to make this. <3
I Love love love this so much it just takes my breathe away.

I’m a new sewist but THIS right here has inspired me to take the plunge! The whole ensemble is FIYAH! How many yards did it take?
