There are those times when you have an overflow of fabric and simply want to reduce your stash. Then you realize you need one more cream colored top. This cream poly crepe like fabric from moodfabrics.com is one you definitely need. It looks a lot more luxe than the $10.00 price tag. It sews, irons and cuts nicely.
The pattern used for this top was vintage Butterick 3414 with the following alterations:
-Removed 9″ from the length
-Added a 5″ faced band
-Removed 8″ from the bottom of the sleeve
-Added a 1″ band & a 38″x7″ pleated bell sleeve
-Added inverted pleats to the front and back of the bodice
-Added mini gold buttons
The pattern used for these high waisted pants was the same pattern I used for these plaid pants, which was from one of my favorite pairs of jeans I ripped up with a few changes:
-Removed the fly
-Added a 4″ waist band
-Added a 9″ side zipper
-Added 3″ to the length
Both pieces are gorgeous! Would you tell me where is the ivory fabric from, I couldn’t find the link. Thank you!
