While browsing my local fabric store I came across this houndstooth wool fabric that reminded me of my vintage Oscar De La Renta sweater I found at an awesome deal while consignment shopping. I had no clue what I was going to do with and then thought back to the beautiful Roksanda Ilincic dress with the most amazing sleeves that I absolutely love. I picked the easiest Vogue pattern ever and the design inspiration simply came as I sewed. I added a rolled neckline, elastic waist and extended bell sleeves with pleats. I was able to finally use my serger so the construction is impeccable. I’m quite proud of this one.
