The Christmas season is the perfect time of year for entertaining. It allows you the best opportunity to break out the festive table settings making your friends feel special and putting everyone in the holiday season. Walking into any craft or Christmas store is usually met with tons of red gold and green which for normal people makes them smile, but not me. I can tolerate a poinsettia here and there but that’s the extent of my Christmas red love. When setting my holiday table, I like to stay with the color scheme of the room so It doesn’t clash and make me feel like I’m in someone’s horrible Christmas nightmare. I use vases, dishes and candles from around the house, pine cut from trees in my yard, and a few pine cones from Michaels. The result is a fresh holiday welcoming, pine scented environment.
