Each season I tend to adopt an everyday “uniform”. Being a mom that spends her day running around the city with a two-year-old, it’s imperative I stay comfortable, functional but still fashionable. This season’s “uniform” has been all about the easy wrap dress. This dress was made using this gingham georgette from moodfabrics.com that feels way more amazing than it’s price will lead you to believe. It’s easy to, sew and iron and it drapes like a dream.
The pattern used for this dress was the bodice of McCalls M6961 view A with the following alterations:
-Used only the bodice
-Added 2″ to the length of the bodice
-Removed the zipper
The skirt was made with McCall’s M6024 view C with the following alterations:
-Added 4″ to the length
-Added 2 hook & eye closures
